Official Software Manual
The official Magnolia Documentation is being maintained by the vendor of Magnolia and provides valuable information for users, administrators and developers of Magnolia. It contains the following chapters:
- Overview: This introduction gives an overview of the key Magnolia concepts, and is a good starting read, no matter what your role or usage of Magnolia is.
- User Guide: Magnolia's administration environment AdminCentral is the entry point for editors and system administrators. Editors use AdminCentral to manage their Web pages and system administrators use it to configure Magnolia.
- Administration: The section on administering Magnolia explains amongst others how to install, update and securely run the Content Management System.
- Modules and Add-ons: This chapter explains how to administer and use the various modules and add-ons provided for Magnolia.
- Cook book: The cookbook is a collection of tutorials explaining various topics to make full use of Magnolia's potential, such as creating custom modules.
- Reference: The reference documentation lists the various tag libraries available to build Magnolia templates which display content. Additionally, it includes the Java API docs.
