Jobs
Magnolia International Ltd., the Swiss company that develops Magnolia, keeps growing at a fast pace. Junior Software Developer (Java Web Applications)

As a Junior Software Developer you will be joining the Magnolia core team and help build the next generation of easy-to-use, web-based content management software.

You will participate in discussions with senior developers and the product manager to decide what is being worked on. As a Junior, you enjoy the freedom to work on some research and prototype projects as well as learning new technologies and architectures. On the other hand, the functionality you implement will be used by thousands of people on the planet. You strive in communicating openly with peers and our communities, defend your findings and opinions but accept that reality comes in many shades, most of which have to do with the fact that resources are always limited and real artists ship.

What we look for:

  • a sharp mind – razor-sharp if possible
  • experience and enthusiasm developing web-based applications
  • ability to communicate in English and in a proactive manner
  • a high level of frustration resilience (needed to survive the cross-browser incompatibilities, Javascript madness and ever-changing schedules)
  • an outstanding degree in Computer Science or related
  • reliability, trustworthiness and professional integrity
